A rainbow of books
While browsing around today I came upon a flick’r group called Rainbow of books. Organizing one’s books by colour probably is not the most efficient way if you actually would like to find a specific book, but it certainly is one of the most beautiful ones.

I’ve done this before (love to rearrange), but I always return them back to alphabetical by author. I know they look lovely (especially chotda’s), but it bothers me that books by one author aren’t all clustered together. I’m so OC.
What a great idea, thanks for pointing it out. I’m always curious about how folks arrange their treasured possessions. I tend to organize my shelves by topic: sports, Jewish theme, trips I’ve taken, etc.
Wow, those pictures are really cool. I mean, I’d never be able to arrange my library by color (size, perhaps. Publisher, done before. Color? I guess its day will come…). I’d go crazy not having sequels next to each other. Plus, I’d get super confused, mostly because most of my books are multicolored. Still, as anti-efficient as it may be, it’s pretty awesome.
