Oh My Blog! award

Oh My Blog

Gaby from Oh my Books! awarded me with the Oh my Blog! award. Thanks so much, Gaby. What a fun award to get!

Now, what to do?

1. Get really excited that you got the coolest award EVER!

2. Choose ONE of the following options of accepting the OMB award:

(a) Get really drunk and blog for 15 minutes straight, or for as long as you can focus.

(b) Write about your most embarrassing moment.

(c) Write a "Soundtrack of your childhood" post.

(d) Make your next blog a ‘vlog’/video blog. Basically, you’re talking to the camera about whatever.

(e) Take a picture of yourself first thing in the morning, before you do anything else (hair, make up, etc) and post it.

3. Pass the award on to at least three, but preferably more, awesome bloggers. Don’t forget to tell them.

1. I’m getting really excited. Too bad you can’t see me now. And no, I won’t do a vlog entry…

2. I go for no. e. OK, I cheated a tiny bit, but this is still me at 7am this morning. No make up, no nothing, lol.

7am

3. I’m passing the award on to Carin from A little bookish, Judith from Leeswamme’s blog and to Zee from Notes from the North. Can’t wait to see what you will come up with.

Hm, it seems, Zee’s blog has gone missing. Hope it’ll be back soon.

  1. Thanks for the award Rikki! I like this! Soundtrack of my childhood will be very fun to do! By the way, I need to e-mail you to continue our conversation–I still have informal questions for you and I want to ask you about the GLBT genre for suggestions. I feel like I need to try something from it someday (ugh with my ridiculous TBR list of stuff I don’t own yet…it just keeps getting bigger). I do have a non-fiction book on my list that might qualify, but I want some suggestions from you.

  2. Oh My Blog! Award! Thank you, Rikki, you’re much too good!

I like your picture early in the morning. If I looked like that any time of day, I’d be happy, I think!

Getting an award is SUCH a responsibility! I don’t know what a soundtrack of my childhood should look like (do they mean the BeeGees or so?) and I suppress any memory of embarassing moments of which I’ve had a few. I need to think…. 🙂

  3. Judith, no idea what a soundtrack of my childhood would be, but Carin said she’d do one. I’m still trying to persuade her to post a morning photo though. Emarrassing moment – no way. Getting drunk? I already have a headache. That’s why I went for the photo. Thanks to Photoshop it turned out alright.

Carin, go ahead and ask away!
