My reading list for November

So October was so-so as far as my reading list is concerned. I read 4 out of 7 books, which is ok, but I think if I blogged and tweeted less and read more I’d be able to finish more. Haven’t we all that dilemma to solve, though?

Laura Lippman definitely has to wait. Just to expensive for me to buy considering it is a genre I don’t particularly enjoy as a rule. I might have to be patient until the price goes down.

I’m going to be very modest this month, seeing that I never stuck to my list the last two months. The list for November will be this:

  • “Soulless” by Gail Carriger (I have already started reading it and love it so far).
  • “Shiver” by Maggie Stiefvater for our readalong. I’m really looking forward to this.

Once I am done with those two I might go for Joseph Conrad’s “Heart of Darkness” after all. Never made it to him last month. And I’ll throw in a few review books that will come my way. I’ll go with the flow.

  1. I always end up changing my reading list too. That’s kind of part of the joy of lists…they are not carved in stone. I am still waiting for Shiver. If they don’t call me by Friday I’ll run to an Austin Public Library to get it. They have several copies in their system, but all of them were about a 40 minute drive for me so I was trying to hold out for my library to get it in. 🙁

Also, don’t wait for me. If you want to read it, feel free! 🙂
