My reading list for March & February recap

readinglist

In February:

For this month I am planning to:

  • continue “The Book of Lost Fragrances” by M. J. Rose, but it doesn’t look good. I am predicting a DNF.
  • get hold of a cheap copy of “Prince Caspian”
  • read the essay “A supposedly fun thing I’ll never do again” by David Foster Wallace
  • participate in the Lunar Love Giveaway Hop
  • participate in Bloggiesta

The rest depends on my mood…

What was  YOUR reading month like?

  1. I am going to have to look up M.C. Beaton. You read quite a bit by that person!

My reading month went ok. I read two books:
Beatrice and Virgil by Yann Martel
    After Dark by Haruki Murakami

I started two books as well:
Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke
A Long, Long Time Ago and Essentially True by Brigid Pasulka

I also need to make time to participate in your Chronicles of Narnia Challenge. I’m thinking maybe May will be the time that I can pick up a C.S. Lewis. I also like that you have no guilt about failing at challenges. I think I’ve gotten to that point in my life where I don’t feel bad about those things either. Life is too short to sweat those things!

I hope all is well with you!
Carin’s last post ..The Disappearing Spoon–Sam Kean

    • Oh, yes, no reason to feel bad about challenges that you didn’t go through with. It’s fun to plan ahead but sometimes you are just not in the mood for something. And that is ok.

Beaton is definitely only for cozy mystery lovers. Not sure you like them, ?!

This month was an exceptionally good reading month because of the hospital stay and the follwing week off. With no kids around there was plenty of time for books, :).
