After finishing the four books in the coffeehouse mystery series by Cleo Coyle I have moved on to the Tea Shop Mystery series by Laura Childs.
Death by Darjeeling is the first book in the series. The beginning sounds cosy enough:
Theodosia Browning leaned back from the clutter of her antique wooden desk, balanced a bone china cup and saucer on one knee, and took a much-needed sip of Lung Ching tea.

I started “Piercing” by Ryu Murakami, yesterday. It is quite interesting…

I like it! I can see her cluttered desk, as well as the teacup. I love sentences that show us the character’s world.
Here’s MY FRIDAY MEMES POST
What an interesting name–Theodosia. She seems relaxed.
Here’s my beginning:

I’m going to name you the cosy mystery expert
This book beginning sounds promising and I’m eagerly awaiting your final verdict
Far from it, I only started reading cozies….,
.
I really like this one so far.
What a great name, Theodosia… I am envisioning a lady with a ‘go get them’ attitude. Her beverage sounds tempting too
She is quite a good heroine. Down to earth but not too bossy or meddling as far as I can tell. I like her.
I’ve been sick since Wednesday evening and cannot read. However, I keep the books at hand just in case the fever breaks and I feel like reading (which is highly improbable).
Loved that book beginning although I have never heard of the series/author. Should look it up.
