  1. Errr … I have quite a view things to present today, mostly Netgalley requests which were, amazingly enough, approved within days, and let’s not forget a little rant about what German publishers do to some books (namely chop bigger books into two parts to cash in more money, grrr). Post will go live later today!

    • Yes, THAT is a total shame. I have noticed that for the first time with the Black Dagger Brotherhood books (not that I read them in German, but anyway). They stop in the middle of the book and then you wait for months before the second half comes out, hanging in midair. If I was a reader I would write to them every single day to complain, greedy bastards!

  2. I received Pulse, by Barnes, as a gift from the Romanian Publisher for my previous orders, which felt great, since they actually did not send away any book, they noticed what I enjoy reading and offered one related book, which I was actually planning on reading sometime…This is such a first for a Romanian publisher I am pretty sure it won’t last, since people here do not buy books because they are too expensive, so offering them would be crazy, money-wise…

  3. You’re still going strong with that book buying ban! I succumbed and bought four more books =__= They were cheap second hand ones from Awesomebooks, but still…! Your swap looks like an entertaining read 🙂
