My mailbox was super full this week, all thanks to Birgit from The Book Garden who sent me a package with books and other goodies. She sent me a whole stack of cozy mysteries, some of one of our favourite series and some new to me. On top of that she sent me some other things that I won’t show here otherwise you will all come knocking at her door, begging for gifts,
.
I got as a gift
- On what grounds
- Through the grinder
- Espresso shot, all by Cleo Coyle, book no. 1, 2 and 7 in the Coffeehouse Mystery series
- Knit one, kill two by Maggie Sefton, a knitting mystery. Not that I am a big knitter (anything but), but is there something more cozy than knitting. Hm, maybe crochet.
- A crafty killing by Lorraine Bartlett, first in the Victoria Square Mystery series.
- Spackled and spooked by Jennie Bentley, a Do-it-yourself mystery.
They all are going to make for some wonderfully cozy reading under the blanket. Thanks, Birgit, for sending them to me!

Great selection! How nice of Brigit.
Judith’s last post ..February Overview
The next snowstorm can come now that you’ve got plenty of cozy mysteries in stock! Just kidding!! At least I don’t need any more snow … and I hope you don’t either!
Don’t even say the word, Birgit! I am so sick of the snow. I am ready for spring.
The boyfriend got me enough books last Christmas and on my birthday as to keep me reading for some months, so the huge pile of books in my desk prevents me from buying anything. But I’m dying to read Gone Girl.
I haven’t bought any book in ages, but they come to me anyway,
